Easter Explained
The Arrival of the King
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. On this day we remember when Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey while crowds welcomed Him with palm branches and shouts of “Hosanna!” (Matthew 21:1–11).
The people believed Jesus was the Messiah who would rescue them. They celebrated His arrival like a king returning in victory. But many did not yet understand the kind of King He truly was.
Jesus did not come to conquer Rome or claim political power. He came to conquer sin and death through the cross.
Palm Sunday invites us to ask an important question:
Do we welcome Jesus as King only when life is good, or do we follow Him even when the road leads to sacrifice?
Join us as we begin Holy Week remembering the humble King who came to bring salvation.
The Sacrifice That Changed Everything
Good Friday is a day of reflection and gratitude. It is the day we remember the crucifixion of Jesus and the incredible love shown through His sacrifice.
Though Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, He willingly gave Himself to die on the cross for the sins of the world (John 19). What looked like defeat was actually the fulfillment of God’s plan to bring redemption to humanity.
The cross reminds us that our sin is serious, but God’s love is greater.
Through Jesus’ sacrifice, forgiveness became possible and the barrier between God and humanity was removed.
Good Friday invites us to slow down and reflect on the cost of our salvation and the depth of Christ’s love.
Before we celebrate the empty tomb, we pause to remember the cross that made it possible.

The Victory of the Empty Tomb
Resurrection Sunday is the celebration at the heart of the Christian faith.
Three days after Jesus was crucified, the tomb was found empty. Jesus had risen from the dead just as He promised (Matthew 28:1–10).
The resurrection proves that sin and death do not have the final word. It confirms that Jesus is truly the Son of God and that the hope He offers is real.
Because Jesus lives:
• Forgiveness is available
• Death is defeated
• New life is possible
• Hope is alive
Resurrection Sunday is not just a historical event, it is the beginning of a new reality for everyone who trusts in Christ.
Join us as we celebrate the greatest news in history:
Jesus is alive.
Living the Resurrection
The story of Easter does not end at the empty tomb.
After Jesus rose from the dead, the first words spoken to His followers were instructions: “Go and tell” (Matthew 28:7).
The resurrection was never meant to be kept private. It was meant to be shared with the world.
Go & Tell Monday reminds us that the hope we celebrate on Easter Sunday should shape the way we live every day.
The resurrection changes how we love, how we serve, how we forgive, and how we share the good news with others.
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead now calls His followers to live with purpose and to bring hope to a hurting world.
Easter is not the end of the story.
It is the beginning of the mission.
