Family life can be tricky sometimes so if you feel lost in discipling your teen, check out this downloadable PDF you can use as a resource for your family. 

Of course, the best book to read would be the Bible but sometimes we need another perspective to help us in our relationship with Jesus! 

Winning The War In Your Mind by Craig Groeschel: This book helps teens understand how powerful their thoughts are and how negative thinking can shape feelings, choices, and daily life. It teaches practical ways to recognize and interrupt harmful thought patterns. Rather than just telling teens to “think positively,” the book gives tools to actually change how they think — helping them replace fear, self-doubt, and anxiety with truth and hope.

God Conversations: 20 Discussions for Students on Whether God is Real and What He's Like by Daniel McCoy: Rather than presenting simple answers, this book helps teens think through why Christians believe what they do about God’s existence and character—strengthening both knowledge and conviction. The book walks through twenty real questions that many teens wonder about—like Does science rule out God? Why is there suffering? What is God really like?—and gives thoughtful discussions teens can follow and think about.

BibleProject Podcast: This podcast breaks down the Bible’s big ideas, themes, and stories in ways that connect the whole narrative rather than just isolated verses. This helps teens see the Bible as a unified story with meaning, not just a bunch of disconnected chapters. Whether teens are commuting, exercising, or doing chores, listening can be an easy way to stay connected to their faith and keep growing spiritually outside of school or church settings.
