Monthly Series:

Getting invited to a party is one of the best feelings, and being left out is one of the worst. But there's good news—Jesus never leaves anyone out! He invites everyone to spend time with him, experience his love, and share it with others. This series will remind kids that Jesus' invitation is always open, and we're never too far away to join the party! In this 5-week series, kids will learn that I'm invited to believe in Jesus, love like Jesus does, experience Jesus' miracles, ask Jesus for help, and worship Jesus.

BIG IDEAS & BIBLE STORIES

  1. I’m invited to believe in Jesus. (Jesus and Nicodemus: John 3:1–17)
  2. I’m invited to love like Jesus does. (Jesus and the Samaritan Woman: John 4:5–42)
  3. I’m invited to experience Jesus’ miracles. (Jesus and the Man Born Blind: John 9:1–41)
  4. I’m invited to ask Jesus for help. (Jesus and Lazarus: John 11:1–45)
  5. I’m invited to worship Jesus. (Jesus Enters Jerusalem: Matthew 21:1–11)

WEEKLY SUMMARIES:

  1. In Week 1, kids are invited to hear how Jesus talked to Nicodemus about being born again. Have you ever been invited to a party and wondered what you needed to bring, how to get there, or even if you belonged? This week, we'll hear how Jesus welcomed Nicodemus’ questions and helped him understand what it means to believe in God’s plan through Jesus. Just like Nicodemus, we can bring all our questions and discover that I’m invited to believe in Jesus!
  2. In Week 2, kids are invited to learn how Jesus talked with a Samaritan woman by the well. Sometimes, the best moments at a celebration happen when something totally amazes you. This week, we'll hear how Jesus surprised everyone by talking to a Samaritan woman by the well and showing her love and kindness. Jesus crossed every barrier to love others, and now we can, too, because I’m invited to love like Jesus does.
  3. In Week 3, kids are invited to see how Jesus gave sight to a man born blind. Seeing fireworks light up the sky or a dance move no one thought was possible can leave anyone amazed. This week, we’ll hear how Jesus gave sight to a man born blind, showing God’s power in a way that no one could explain. While some people refused to believe, the man celebrated what Jesus did, reminding us that I’m invited to experience Jesus’ miracles.
  4. In Week 4, kids are invited to feel how Jesus cared deeply for Lazarus and his family by bringing him back to life. Most parties wouldn’t happen without asking for the help you need—whether it’s setting up, cooking, or organizing. This week, we'll hear how Jesus helped Lazarus and his family when they needed him, showing how deeply he cared for them. Even when the answer didn’t come right away, Jesus revealed his power and love, reminding us that I’m invited to ask Jesus for help.
  5. In Week 5, kids are invited to celebrate Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey. Some celebrations are so full of excitement that everyone joins in, like a neighborhood block party. This week, we'll hear how people celebrated Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey, shouting praises, and laying down palm branches to worship him as their king. Jesus deserves our worship not just for what he’s done but for who he is, reminding us that I’m invited to worship Jesus.

MEMORY VERSE: “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” — John 1:12 (NIV)
