Women of Courage
What does Women of Courage mean for me? This theme is a reminder that courage is not self-made—it’s God-given. And you don’t have to have it all figured out to be brave. You just have to take the next step in faith. Here's what we hope this retreat will apply in your life:
Courage to Live Out Your Faith Boldly
It’s about having the confidence to live and speak your faith without fear, whether that’s sharing your testimony, standing up for what’s right, or quietly living with integrity in everyday moments. (Joshua 1:9)
Courage to Face Life’s Unknowns
Life throws curveballs—loss, transitions, new seasons. This theme is a reminder that courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s moving forward despite it, trusting that God goes before you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Courage to Heal and Be Vulnerable
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is admit you’re hurting, ask for help, or share your struggles with safe, faith-filled friends. This retreat can be a place for that kind of safe, spiritual vulnerability.
Courage to Stand Together
This “Women of Courage” retreat will emphasize the power of community—how courage grows when women encourage, pray for, and walk alongside each other.

FAME:
FAME (Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelism) is sending help and hope in the name of Christ to the world’s most vulnerable through medical evangelism. FAME is organized by supporting sustainable (healthcare) projects, sending medical supplies and medicine and mobilizing short term trips.
Josie's Light:
Josie's Light is a nonprofit ministry devoted to serving a deeply hurting and often overlooked community—women who have experienced the heartbreak of pregnancy loss. In times of isolation, sorrow, and grief, they prayerfully offer gifts, hoping they bring both physical comfort and spiritual healing. Their mission is to walk alongside grieving hearts with the compassion of Christ, trusting in God’s promise to bring beauty from ashes—beauty that carries hope & assurance that their babies are never forgotten.
IDES:
IDES (International Disaster Emergency Service) exists to meet the physical and spiritual needs of suffering people throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ. They have sent teams to help those in need all across the globe when tragedy strikes. Disaster Response is one of their Main Focus Areas at IDES. Their response includes anything from refugee aid, house repairs, food and supply distribution, emergency funding, debris cleanup, shed distribution, and so much more!
